Cas M. Cader, MD

Cas M. Cader, MD

Born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA, Dr. Cader received his undergraduate degree from Haverford College in 1981 and his medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania four years later. He became familiar with southern coastal living during his Family Practice residency training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.  After completion of residency training in 1988, Dr. Cader practiced in Newport, RI and Yardley,PA prior to establishing his practice in Morehead City in 1992.  He has been a passionate fisherman since his childhood.  The mix of great community, an excellent local hospital and beautiful nearby waters to pursue his passion made Carteret County a perfect place for him to have a home, raise a family and practice medicine. Dr. Cader's wife, Patrice, as well as his two children, Elise and Ian, all share a strong appreciation for the special outdoor activities afforded by our seaside community.  Dr. Cader enjoys the diversity of medical care offered within the specialty of Family Practice and he finds caring for the entire family especially rewarding.  He places great emphasis on preventive health care, believing that this is one of the greatest challenges and responsibilities borne by the Family Physician.
